The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA) on September 9, signed an agreement to cooperate on telecommunications, information technology and communications for the 2014 - 2020 period.

The program aims to build a solid, modern infrastructure on telecommunications, information technology and communications for CEMA, effectively contributing to the management/guidance of the Government in the ethnic minority sector from the central to the grass root level.

Besides, VNPT will also support CEMA in popularizing the CPV's guidelines and policies, the Constitution and law to the citizens; providing value added taxes services for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; as well as training human resources for the sector.

This program sets a milestone for CEMA in the administrative reform progress towards an E-government; and reaffirms VNPT’s capacity, brand and reputation in the field as a telecommunications, information technology and communications services provider, for the Party apparatus and the State.
