Vice President hails outstanding students
Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan held a meeting in Hanoi on November 2 with 41 students who made outstanding achievements in the international Olympiads and the 2014 university entrance exams.
Speaking at the event, the Vice President stressed that the students were a source of pride for the country and demonstrate Vietnam’s intellectual accomplishments to international friends.
The students are not only a pride to their families but also treasures to the country for the present and in the future.
She also asked the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to reform teaching and studying methods and devise policies to build high-quality human resources for the country.
The students will attend a ceremony to honor their achievements held by the MoET and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam on the evening of November 3 at Au Co theatre in Hanoi.
