Presenting awards to Vietnamese winners at 11th IJSO
The Vietnamese delegation participating in the 11th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) in Mendoza, Argentina, arrived back in Hanoi on December 17th.

The Ministry of Education and Training held a ceremony to welcome the delegation home and present awards to students at Noi Bai airport.
Vietnamese students, all from the 10th grade of the Hanoi - Amsterdam high school for the Gifted, bagged two golds, two silvers and one bronze at the Olympiad which slated from December 3rd to 10th.

It is the highest result for Vietnam after 7 years participating in the competition. This year's event drew the participation of 234 students from 41 countries and territories.
Just 10 countries took gold medals, including 5 countries with 2 gold medals and over.
