Nearly 90 Vietnamese websites get Shellshocked: security firm
A global hacking scheme which exploited the computer bug “Shellshock” has affected at least 89 websites based on Linux operating system in Vietnam for the past few days.

Hanoi-based online security firm BKAV said in a report that the hacking started on March 26 and has affected around 8,500 websites worldwide.
The list will keep getting longer, it said.
The company did not name the Vietnamese websites that were hacked, but said two of them belonged to educational institutions.
Shellshock bug is said to enable hackers to gain complete control of an infected machine, which lets them destroy data, shut down networks or launch attacks on websites.
