Tien Giang marks 136th anniversary of establishment of Nguyen Dinh Chieu High school

On March 17, Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School celabrated the 136th anniversary of establishment (March 17, 1975 – March 17, 2015). Chairman of the provincal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang and representatives of the departments and agencies, provincial and city unions with former teachers and former students of the school attended.

The principal of the school Le Ba Ngoc reviewed the tradition of the 136th aniversary of establishment and development.

Accordingly, Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School was officially established on Mach 17, 1879 under the name of the Mytho called Collège. On 1942, the school was renamed La Myre Collège De Villers and officially named Nguyen Dinh Chieu School from 1953 to the present.

This school has revolutionary tradition and teach good - good student traditions. It has been awarded many honors: Labour Hero Medal in the renovation; the first class Labor Medal, the second class Labor Medal, the third class Labor Medal; the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit, etc...
