Awarding prize of the 2014 TOEFL Junior Challenge and 2015 TOEFL Primary Challenge

The Department of Education and Training in Tien Giang province has coordinated IIG Vietnam to award prize of the 2014 TOEFL Junior Challenge and the 2015 TOEFL Primary Challenge.

Deputy Director of Tien Giang Department of Education-Training Tran Quy Mao and Director of IIG Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Branch Vu Ngoc Bich awarded prize to Tran Lan Anh (the First prize of 2015 TOEFL Primary Challenge).

TOEFL Junior Challenge is an English proficiency contest tailored directly towards Secondary school students. This contest uses tests with international standards provided by ETS - TOEFL Junior and TPO (TOEFL Practice Online) as the evaluation criteria.

The contest took place in 14 provinces and cities nationwide, with 39 340 candidates attended. In Tien Giang province, 932 candidates have registered to attend the exam and 18 students were selected to take part in the final round. As a result, the organizer has given 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 12 Consolation prizes to contestants. The first prize was awarded to Nguyen Hung Dang (Xuan Dieu Secondary School).

TOEFL Primary Challenge is an English proficiency contest tailored directly towards Primary school students. This contest uses tests with international standards provided by ETS - TOEFL Junior and TPO (TOEFL Practice Online) as the evaluation criteria.

The contest took place in 13 provinces and cities with 31,000 candidates attended. In Tien Giang, 7 contestants were selected to attend the final round. As a result, the organizer has given 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes,  4 Third prizes and 14 Consolation prizes to contestants. The First prize was awarded to Tran Lan Anh (student of Le Quy Don Primary School).
