Good students of the 2014-2015 acedamic year are rewarded

Tien Giang Department of Education and Training has just held a ceremony to commended and rewarded good students of the 2014-2015 acedamic year. Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc attended this event.

At the ceremony, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded the Certificate of Mert to winning students in the national good student exam and teachers participated in the selection, fostering winning students in exams. The Provincial Department of Education and Training commended and awarded winning students in the national exam, regional and provincial levels

In the national good student exams, 12 students won the selecting excellent student exam for the twelve grade; 63 students won English Olympic competition on Internet; 4 students won "Talented English" Olympic contest; 31 students won the Mathematics Prize competition on Internet; 8 students won the Applying interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical scenarios contest for high school student and 1 student won the Science – Engineering contest.

 

At the regional level, 6 students won the "Good Literature-Good word” contest of secondary school level and one prize of the "Intellectual Mountain top" contest. At the provincial exams, there were 870 students; 25 projects won the provincial Science - Engineering contest for high school student; 39 products won the Aapplying interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical scenarios contest for high school student; 57 outstanding students comprehensive in all education sectors; 2 students passed the high school national exam, etc…

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc praised the outstanding achievements in their study of students. He stressed that the result would be a good beginning to help students to move towards further on the path of learning. He also noted, the branch of education and training should do better the selection, fostering good students to serve as a nucleus for the country's industrialization and modernization in the future.
