Tien Giang to deploy plan on building learning society 2015-2016

Tien Giang Department of Education and Training (MOET) has just held a conference on deploying building learning society 2015-2016. Director of Tien Giang Department of Education and Training Nguyen Hong Oanh, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Permanent Steering Committee on Building Learning Society chaired the conference.

At the conference, Director of Tien Giang Department of Education and Training Nguyen Hong Oanh deployed Decicion No.1505 of Provincial People’s Committee on strengthening the Steering Committee on Building Learning Society, Decicion No.609 of Tien Giang Department of Education and Training on founding the Secretarial team of the Steering Committee on Building Learning Society, Decision No.1342 of the Provincial Steering Committee on Building Learning Society to promulgate regulation on organization and operation of the Steering Committee.

 

Deputy Director of Tien Giang Department of Education and Training Planning Tran Thi Quy Mao deploy plan on building learning society 2015-2016 to concentrate on the following tasks and solutions:

 

To raise awareness about the purpose, significance, role and benefits of building a learning society; to organize activities for lifelong learning through the mass media, libraries, museums, houses of culture, clubs; to consolidate and develop the network of educational regularly establishment; to promote forms of distance learning, eLearning, tec..

 

To implement measures to support the learners in order to improve the quality and efficiency of lifelong learning; to set up mechanisms for coordination between levels, sectors, organizations and businesses in the process of building a learning society.
