4th National Environmental Conference to open

The 4th National Environmental Conference, scheduled to welcome about 2,000 deputies has been organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to take place in Hanoi from September 29th - 30th.

 

On September 29th, the four main activities will include a seminar on the State management of environmental protection, seminars on science and technology in the field of environmental protection; the opening ceremony of the international exhibition on environmental protection and a ceremony recognizing exemplary models of environmental protection during the period 2011 - 2015.

 

On September 30th, the plenary session of the 4th National Environmental Conference will take place.

 

Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, Director General of the Department of Environment said the conference will focus on reviewing and evaluating the achievements of the state management of environmental protection in the period 2011 - 2015, identifying tasks and key solutions in the works of environmental protection, period 2016  2020 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; reports of the ministries, branches and localities on results and experiences in the works of environmental protection.

 

The conference is hoped to create an opportunity for the participants to share experiences and take actions on environmental protection.
