Tien Giang University begins the new school year 2015-2016

Tien Giang University has just celebrated the new school year 2015-2016. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang attended the meeting and beat the school drum to launch the new school year 2015-2016.

In the 2014-2015 academic year, Tien Giang University had 78 percent of students achieved good level upwards, etc…

In the 2015 – 2016 academic year, Tien Giang University enrolled students to school in university branch getting rate of 91.34 percent and college branch getting rate of 65.92 percent. Until now, there are 2,000 new students enrolling to start school, increasing the scale of the university’s training in the academic year 2015 - 2016 over 10,000 students.

 

The school will continue to innovate programs, teaching method, testing and evaluation in order to promote the autonomy and creativity of learners; promote scientific research and transfer technology to create high quality of scientific products. The college’s facilities also continue to be strengthened to ensure the practice space, practice of students.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang appreciated the efforts of the college in recent years; and asked the college to continue to strive to improve the efficiency of training and scientific research; continued to focus on training human resources quality for meeting the requirements of the labor market in the province and the region, etc... 

 

On this occasion, the school rewarded students with excellent performance in the last school year as well as received VND 600 funding from benefactors.
