On October 17, Tien Giang High School for Gifted Students highschool solemnly organized the anniversary 20th of establishment (October 20, 1995-October 20, 2015). 

 

Attending the ceremony was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee Party Le Hong Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc and retired teachers, students,etc…

At the ceremony, delegates viewed the tradition of Tien Giang High School for Gifted Students highschool’s process of establishment and development. This scholl always maintained the tradition of "good teaching - learning good".

Tien Giang High School for Gifted Students highschool was founded in 1995. Through many difficulties (about the basis of material and human resources), so far the school has had spacious facilities. 

 

Every year, the number of proficient students gets over 75 percent, the rate of students passing graduation gets 100 percent, the rate of students passing public universities gets over 85 percent (including many students wining oversea scholarships), etc…

 

With the efforts of teachers and students for many decades, Tien Giang High School for Gifted Students highschool has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Certificate (academic year 1998-1999 and academic year 20014-2015), the third-class Labour Medal (academic year 2014-2015), etc ...

 

At the ceremony, the delegates also witnessed the ceremonial torch. The flame was passed from hands of school’s 20 typical students which was symbol of 20 years maturity of school. 

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the achievements of teachers as well as students of this school through 20 years of development. At the same time, he also stressed that the existing facilities today with the achievements gained was good conditions for the development, therefore, the school should always keep trying to improve the quality of teaching and learning, etc…
