Nearly 500 candidates join national skills competition

The 9th national skills competition will take place from May 23rd - 30th, attracting 498 candidates in 58 delegations, joining competitions in 25 industries, adding three industries since the 8th competition in 2014.

The most excellent candidates will be selected to form a national team to join the 11th skills competition of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to be held in Malaysia from September 19th-29th and the 44th world skills competition in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 14th-19th, 2017.

The national competition, which will be held in five locations across three localities, aims to honor highly skilled young members of the labor force, encouraging skills teachers and learners to promote their creativity to foster a high quality team for the regional and world competitions.
