350,000 students go to school for the new academic year 2015-2016

From August 15, 283,000 students in Tien Giang of kindergaten, primary, secondary and high school go to school for the new academic year 2016-2017.

According to the Department of Education and Training in Tien Giang province, the new academic year 2016-2017 has 135,700 childrens in pre-school; over 135,700 childrens in primary school, over 103,000 secondary school students and 44,000 students in high school including 6,000 students of non-public shool as expected.

About teacher staff, the province has over 20.700 teachers with 99 percent teachers getting standard including 35 percent getting level over standard, being sufficient to meet the need of teaching at all levels.

As expected, the school must hold a ceremony on the occasion of “The day all people take children to school," in September 5, 2016.
