Contestant Tran Van Si in Tien Giang wins the second prize

On Agust 28, Tien Giang Radio and Television Station combined with Department of Education and Training, Tien Giang Telecommunications and Tien Giang Lottery one member co., Ltd hold the final of the fifth "Road to glory" 2015-2016.

Head of The Tien Giang Party Committee's Propaganda Department Tran Kim Trat and Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc attended this event.

Awaring prize to contestants

Four contestants attended the final such as: Tran Van Si (Thien Ho Duong high school, Tien Giang province), Huynh Nguyen Thuy Diem (Rach Kien high school, Long An province), Ly Thuy Huong (Lich Hoi Thuong high school, Soc Trang province) an Tran Le Truong (Go Cong Dong high school, Tien Giang province).

Through four competition rounds, contestant Huynh Nguyen Thuy Diem won the laurel wreath with 210 points and the prize worth 150 million VND as well as many gifts of patrons. Contestant Tran Van Si won the second prize with 130 points. Contestant Ly Thuy Huong (getting 95 points) and Tran Le Truong (getting 90 points) won the third prize.

The "Road to glory" was held from the acedemic year 2009 - 2010 for high school students in Tien Giang province. By the acedemic year 2011-2012, this program was extended to the high school students of Ben Tre and Long An provincce. From the academic year 2013 - 2014, the program  was expanded to  provincial candidates of Mekong Delta.
