265 disabled pupils, orphans granted scholarships
On Agust 31, the Department of Education and Training and the Association for poor patients, disabled children and orphans with the provincial Study Encouragement Association has granted scholarships "Giving strength disabled children, orphans to school" for the academic year 2016-2017.
Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Disabled Persons Dang Huynh Mai attended this event.

At the ceremony, 265 disabled pupils, orphans of primary schools, junior schools and high schools in the province were awarded scholarships with total of more than 250 million VND. In particular, pupils of primary and secondary school received gift with a scholarship worth of 900 thousand VND, pupils of high school received gift with a scholarship worth of 1 million VND.
The province has now had 45,000 children of poor families, including more than 2,000 orphans and 2,000 disabled children. Going to school is a great effort of children.
This activity is organized every year with a contribution of units, organizations as well as authorities to make the social security better. Taking place at the beginning of the new school year, the program is very meaningful expressing an affection and responsibility, to care for children with special circumstances.
