Training the program for environmental management ISO 14000

On September 15, Tien Giang Department of Industry and Commerce organized a training the program for environmental management ISO 14000 and cleaner production. 100 officials of the chamber’s economy and infrastructure of districts, towns and some businesses in the province attended.

 

Attendees were provided many contents including an introduction organization of ISO and ISO 14000 standard, the system of environmental management according to ISO 14000, the implementation environmental management system and situation of applying ISO 14000 in the world and Vietnam, many techniques applied more cleaner production,etc ...

The training couse aimed at helping businesses to be more aware of ISO 14000 and the role benefit of cleaner production, managing resource effectively, reducing waste in the production process and reducing risk and impact of environmental pollution, building safe working environment to ensure the health of workers and surrounding communities to contribute to improvement of the production efficiency and reducing environmental pollution.
