Tien Giang Vocational College holds the opening ceremony for the new academic year

Tien Giang Vocational College has just held the opening ceremony for the new academic year 2016 – 2017. Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc attended the meeting.

By the mandate, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc presents Certificates of Merit of Prime Minister to outstanding teachers.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, Tien Giang Vocational College’s enrollment reached 59.22 percent, increasing the scale of the school over 1,100 students. The school is detemined to implement the target of action “Standards - Quality - Efficiency", striving to have at least 50 percent of the practical modules associated with creating useful products, etc...

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc appreciated the efforts of the college in recent years; and asked the college to continue to strive to improve the efficiency of training and scientific research; continued to focus on training human resources quality for meeting the requirements of the labor market in the province and the region, etc...

 

On this occasion, Prime Minister awarded Certificate of Merit to 2 individuals, the Provincial People’s Committee awarded Certificate of Merit to 4 collectives. Many agencies, units and enterprises awarded scholarships to some disavantage students getting good result in learning.
