Student of Tien Giang University presented "January Star" award

On January 8, Vietnam Students' Association (VSA) organised a ceremony at Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and the VSA (January 9, 1950-2017).

At the ceremony, the central-level “Students with Five Good Performances” title were presented to the outstanding 53 students and 12 organisations while the nineteenth “January Star” title was presented to another 100, in recognition of their brilliant academic results and contributions to the students’ movements.

Student Do Hoang Khue of Tien Giang University was presented the “January Star” award. He is student of the class 14A, Faculty of Economics – Law, Business Administration University. This is the highest recognition for union staff, youth union have made outstanding achievements in the work and learning.

In year 2016, Vietnam Student Association received 185 documents for application of 55 provinces and cities across the country.
