To build My Tho city to become the smart city

Accordingly, Tien Giang VNPT will help province build the content, method of surveying the actual situation of urban areas concerning smart city of My Tho city in oder to set up the scheme of building My Tho city to become smart city. Building the overall frame of smart urban architecture including architecture frame ICT technology and the frame of smart urban solution for My Tho, ensuring the principle that all solutions for smart urban of inside and outside country technology units can be implemented based on this architecture frame.

 

Building standards toward creation open ecosystem, building the deployment schedule according to practical need, implementing integrated deployment services, intelligent system to the frame (architecture) of smart city, to build gradually ecosystem applied smart urban in My Tho city according to the model of promoting the full creativity of participants. To invest in construction and development center focused information technology, to call for investment of firms, business, start-up, to promote the development of products and information technology services in Tien Giang province and Mekong Delta region, etc...

 

Speaking at the signing ceremony, chairman of VNPT Tran Manh Hung confirmed: With the advantage of infrastructure, solutions, experience, quality of human resources of VNPT and clear orientation of Tien Giang province, VNPT believes to implement successfully the project for building My Tho city to become smart city in 2020. This helps Tien Giang province not only to develop sustainably, to use infrastructure efficiently, friendly environment but also to obtain foreign investment in foreign countries, becoming one of the strong socioeconomic development province in Mekong Delta region.

 

Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong thanked the VNPT's positive contribution to the development of the province from 2014 to present, helping the ready index of information technology application of Tien Giang to be improved significantly. Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee will continue to direct the departments and agencies and My Tho city promoting the application of information technology, e-government construction, especially in efforts to implement building My Tho city to become the smart city.
