14 students of Tien Giang University received VNSF scholarship

Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation (VNSF) in cooperation with Tien Giang University has just held awarded scholarship to 14 disadvantaged students of Tien Giang University.

VNSF (Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation) was established in December 2001 to provide support and assistance to disadvantaged students from grade I to intermediate, college or university level to have more power for learning and life. At present, VNSF is supporting scholarships for more than 500 students from Bac Lieu, An Giang, Hau Giang, Dong Thap, Tien Giang district, Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas.

On this occasion, the VNSF Volunteer Fund awarded 14 scholarships to disadvantaged students who achieved good academic results (college students received VND2.4 million per semester and university students received 3.6 million VND per semester). The total value of the scholarship award is 50.4 million VND. These scholarships are an important source of material and spiritual encouragement, contributing to sharing difficulties and helping students to study and achieve the highest results.
