13,038 students apply for national high school graduation exam

On May 12, Tien Giang provincial People's Committee held the meeting of the steering committee of the national high school graduation exam 2017. Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc chaired the meeting.

This year's national high school graduation exam takes place from June 21-24, 2017. The whole province has only test site hosted by Tien Giang Department of Education and Training in collaboration with Tien Giang University and Ton Duc Thang University. There is 13,038 students taking part in 25 test sites with 553 labs.

The new point odf this year's new high school exams is student to take part in five exam papers including three independent exam papers such as Mathematic, Literature, Foreign languages and two combined exam papers susch as national sciences (a combination of Physic, Chemistry, Biology) and social sciences (a combination of History, Geography, Citizen Education) for high school student; a combination of History, Geography for high school student of continuous training program). About the exam form, Mathematic exam paper and combined exam papers will test in the form of multiple choice, phylology exam paper according the form of self-examination.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc asked members of the steering committee to work closely together to organize the national high school graduation exam seriously and according to regulation. Tien Giang Department of Education and Training should soon carry out the training for test leader; many relevant departments should have a ready-made plan during the exam period, etc…
