Chairman of the PPC works with Tien Giang University

On the afternoon of May 22, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong worked with Tien Giang University.

At the working session, leader of Tien Giang University reported the operation of the school in the 2016-2017 school year. In the last school year, thanks to the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, the PPC and the effort of the shool’s staffs, lecturers, the school has accomplished many tasks. Accordingly, the rate of graduated students every year got job is over 80%, the school’s facility has been built spaciously, etc…

However, the school also meets some difficulties such as: Number of lecturers with doctoral degree increase slowly; the result of staff downsizing has not met requirements; the construction progress at the new facility is slow; the scientific research activity is limited; there is no policy to attract highly qualified people for school, etc ...

At the meeting, the provincial leaders also listened and noted some opinions of the staff, lecturers around many issues such as transferring grade to trainers, career of students after graduation, scientific research, etc...

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the PPV Le Van Huong acknowledged the effort of the school in the last school year and requested the school administration to implement effectively solutions to solve many current difficulties of the school in the coming time; to continue to improve the life of cadres and civil servants; to promote the role of mass organizations effectively; to train human resource linking to market demand; to build a revenue project in a specific way, etc ...
