Tien Giang responds to the 2017 International Day for Biological Diversity

On June 5, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Tan Phuoc district People's Committee held a ceremony to respond to the 2017 International Day for Biological Diversity, the World Enviroment Day (June 5, 2017) and mobilized to implement the project of "Tien Giang farmers actively participate in environmental protection in rural areas”.

This was one of many practical activities that inspired the community, especially young people towards a friendly living behaviour; to build a green-clean-beautiful environment to contribute to the construction of a new countryside; to intensify the inspection and prevention of illegal trade in wild animal and plant products degrading ecosystems and biodiversity resources.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh emphasized: “With today's practical activities, each of us will have positive impacts and spread widely in the community so that people can understand more about the importance ff biodiversity conservation and environmental protection in order to have a living solution adapted to our environment, etc ...

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association invited members to participate in the ceremony to participate the ceremony of planting tree to create environmental landscaping at Tan Phuoc district stadium, launching the project of "Tien Giang farmers actively participate in environmental protection countryside".
