Tien Giang province signs cooperation program with University of Economics, HCM city

On the afternoon of August 22, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a ceremony to sign a cooperation program with University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh city. At the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed a cooperation agreement between the PPC and the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City involved in four focus areas during 2017-2020:

Firstly, the university will coordinate with the province in staff training, management, analysis and implementation of policies for local authorities and relevant authorities.

Secondly, the two sides will coordinate the implementation of socio-economic development research in the province.

Thirdly, the two sides will coordinate the consultancy, implementation and implementation of socio-economic development policies, to evaluate the effectiveness of policy programs implemented in the province.

Fourthly, the university will coordinate with the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee to participate in and review the policies promulgated by the Party and Government related to Tien Giang as well as local policies issued to address local issues.
