At the working session, the delegates listened to the report on the organizational structure, the staff and performance of the functions as well as duties of the unit.

According to the Tien Giang University's development strategy up to 2020, the unit's apparatus will be rearranged in the direction of full function rooms to ensure good implementation of the school's tasks, the faculty members constantly to be improved both both in quality and quantity.

The university strives to have the training scale from 10,000 to 12,000 students by 2020; at the same time, to develop eight new graduates and three master-training majors.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong recognized the achievements of the Tien Giang University in recent years.
