At the workshop, participants were informed about the progress of the project to build mango and mango production models in Viet Nam in the Southern region for export. The objective of the project aims at synchronously applying technical measures for mango and mango cultivation under VietGap standards; establishing a production and management model that links production, consumption and export of mangos and longan to Australia, USA, Japan and New Zealand.
In addition, the project also conducts research on a number of new fruit varieties, as well as issues related to quality control and residues of pesticides, potential pest and disease systems export fruits to the US market; implications of scattered-crops flower handling on mango, longan; the situation of import and export on vegetables and fruits in 2018 in the fastidious markets, etc ...
The workshop also received many speeches of the Center for Agricultural Extension, cooperative groups within and outside the province on the contents, solutions to raise capacity, signing the model with the business.
The workshop was an opportunity for representatives of state management agencies, researchers, businesses, people to meet, exchange and share information to find solutions to improve product quality fruit, aiming to export to fastidious markets in the coming time.
