Tien Giang University holds the 1th international conference

ABO - Tien Giang University has just held the 1th international conference on the theme "Advanced techniques in food science and biotechnology".

The workshop attracted the participation of leading scientists in two fields of food science and biotechnology from major universities in the US, Japan, Korea, France, Australia and other countries as well as scientists from universities in the country.

The workshop received 25 scientific articles from domestic and foreign researchers on advanced techniques in the field of food science and biotechnology. Especially at the seminar, delegates exchanged and discussed solutions to improve the quality of advanced technology research in food science and biotechnology in Tien Giang University in particular and toward the goal of sustainable development of Vietnam agriculture in general.

The workshop divided into two subcommittees including food science and technology in food processing as well as biotechnology in applied agriculture, animal husbandry, environment, fisheries and food.

It was an opportunity to introduce research works of Tien Giang University lecturers to the academic research community as well as an opportunity for lecturers and students of Tien Giang University to exchange knowledge with researchers at home and abroad, learning more new methods, models and directions for research, applying to teaching, improving the quality of training for students in the future, etc…
