100,000 reeding fish released into river to protect living aquatic resources
ABO - On April 5, in Hiep Duc commune, Tien Giang province Fisheries Department in collaboration with the Provincial Aquaculture Association released breeding fish into Nam Thon river to protect living aquatic resources on the traditional day of Vietnam seafood (April 1, 1959 - 2019).

The two agencies totally released 100,00 breeding fish of different kinds into Nam Thon river to aim at raising inhabitants’ awareness of protecting living aquatic resources and balancing the coastal ecosystem as well as reducing multiplying of dangerous foreign creature in rivers.
At the same time, the breeding fish also aims at propagating the legal provisions and the role and value of aquatic resources in daily life, enhancing the sense of responsibility in protecting aquatic resources, and protecting natural ecosystems.
