Accordingly, the action month for food safety 2019 took place from April 15 - May 15, 2019 with many communication activities, inspection and food safety inspection activities, to further strengthen its role and responsibility of food producers and traders as well as raising awareness and knowledge of consumers in food safety.
In order to ensure the health of the community, activities of the action month for food safety 2019 aim at promoting the role and responsibility of businesses in food safety law enforcement; enhancing the supervision role of management agencies, social organizations and consumers for the enforcement of food safety laws of individuals, production and business establishments, especially minimizing food poisoning due to consumption of unsafe food, fake food and poor quality food.
The action month for food safety 2019 is expected to contribute to correcting and overcoming the limitations of remaining food safety and hygiene by mobilizing departments, agencies and mass organizations and the whole society to actively participate in the work of ensuring food safety, ensuring food safety for users and protecting health’s community.
