The plastic surgery - burns – dermatology faculty established

ABO - On May 15, the Tien Giang General Hospital established and came into operation of the plastic surgery - burns – dermatology faculty.

The faculty was established under Decision 459 of Tien Giang province Department of Health with the staff initially including 4 specialized doctors and the initial scale of 20 beds and specialized clinic.
In the coming time, the faculty will continue to improve on organization and facilities, meeting well the requirements for surgical examination and treatment. In addition, it will coordinate expertise with departments in hospitals, high-tech and customized treatment departments and other hospitals in Ho Chi Minh city.

With the function of examination and treatment in the fields of shaping, cosmetic and dermatology, the faculty will receive emergency surgeries, plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology, modify bad physical traits such as congenital deformities or due to the pathological process, solving aesthetic requirements according to patients' needs.
