Tien Giang University organizes scientific workshop on university governance model

ABO - Tien Giang University in accordance with Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges have just organized the scientific workshop 2019 under the theme: "University governance model in the context of self-university in Vietnam”.

The workshop focused on discussing the contents: Self-university autonomy and university governance model towards self-control from theory to practice; the basic principles of university administration; experience in university administration at self-control public universities and non-public universities; the model of university administration at local universities meets the requirement of improving the quality and effectiveness of operations in the context of self-university, etc...

The workshop aimed at creating a forum for local universities and colleges in the Southwest region to have opportunities to exchange academics in the areas of educational science and university management, focusing on building university governance models for universities in the context of self-control.

In 2018, Tien Giang University organized two specialized scientific workshops at regional and international level, in order to create conditions for teachers and students of Tien Giang University to have opportunities to exchange and share experiences with domestic researchers; expanding cooperation with partners in the field of educational science and social sciences, and introducing research works of the university lecturers to the specialized scientific research community.
