A press training course in "Climate change and sustainable energy"
ABO - From August 22 to 24, Center for Regional and Urban Studies under HCM city Association of Science and Technology Associations in coordination with the Institute of Climate Change Research under Can Tho University, University of Science - Social and Humanities in HCM city and Germany International Cooperation Organization organized a press training course in "Climate change and sustainable energy" for journalists in the Mekong Delta region (Mekong Delta) and HCM city.

Accordingly, the participants studied and exchanged many topics such as: General issues on climate change, environment in the world and Vietnam today; The role and impact of the press in communication activities on environmental issues; potential for renewable energy development in the Mekong Delta; data analysis and information graphics, etc...
Besides, participants also went to the field to learn about producing biomass electricity from bagasse and value chain connecting sugarcane farmers and sugar industry; policies to develop renewable energy and solar energy in Can Tho city; wind power production and alternating dry rice cultivation program in Bac Lieu province.
