Tien Giang province ranked the 5th grade on ICT Index 2019

ABO – According to Department of Information Technology under Ministry of Information – Communications, the ICT Index 2019 of Tien Giang province reached 0.5583 points, holding the 5th position, up 2 ranks compared to 2018 and being the leading province in the ICT Index 2019 in the Mekong Delta region.

Announcing the top 10 provinces/cities leading Vietnam ICT Index 2019.

In particular, the component indicators of Tien Giang include: IT Infrastructure Index reaches 0.47 points (ranked 10), IT Human Resources Infrastructure index reaches 0.63 points (ranked 23), only number of IT Application reaches 0.66 points (ranked 4).

This is the result of the efforts of Tien Giang province in promoting IT development in the province, in which priority is given to IT application, strengthening the promotion of online public services at a high level, especially route process of building smart cities, e-government towards digital government in the future.

2019 is the 14th year, the evaluation report, ranking "Vietnam ICT Index" by the Department of Information Technology under Ministry of Information - Communications and Vietnam Computer Association is based on data collected from investigating, updating, comparing and adjusting, the research team calculated component indicators and then ICT Index of each target group.
