Students of Tien Giang University participate in the 2019 Voluntary Blood Donation Day

ABO - The Student Association of Tien Giang University in collaboration with the Provincial Red Cross and the Can Tho city Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital has just held the 2019 Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2019.

There was an attendance of more than 500 students registered to participate in blood donation. Through the screening and blood donation, the organizing committee received 358 blood units, contributing to the supply of blood reserves in hospitals in order to timely meet the emergency and medical examination and treatment.

Chairman of Tien Giang University Student Association Nguyen Minh Quan said that: Voluntary blood donation is an annual activity organized by the Tien Giang University Student Association twice a year; thereby, showing the noble gesture, the spirit of shock, volunteering for the community of unionists, youth.

This is also one of the practical activities to welcome the 6th Congress of Vietnam Youth Association, tenure 2019 - 2024.
