Tien Giang General Hospital to be completed by the end of 2021

ABO – On December 5, the main bidding package for Tien Giang General Hospital was officially started. Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong and leaders of the concerned departments and branches attended the ritual of pile driving to implement the 4th package of the Tien Giang General Hospital project.

This is the main bidding package with many construction items including: The main building block N1 with 10 first floors and 1 basement has a construction area of 19,257 m2, total construction floor area (excluding basements) as 81,806 m2;

The N3 contagious block with 4 floors has a construction area is 515 m2, total construction floor area as about 2,060 m2; the funeral building N4 with 1 floor with construction area of 437 m2.

The simple-scale auxiliary works (1-storey height) include 7 security houses, medical gas houses and boilers, waste storage houses, sewage treatment blocks, gates and fences.

Technical infrastructure includes trees, information technology system, medical gas system; overall water supply and drainage system; overall power supply system; waste water treatment station, etc ...

The project implementation period is 720 days (from December 5, 2019 to November 29, 2021); the bid winning value is over 1,642 billion VND.

On the same day, Chairman of the PPPC Le Van Huong chaired the meeting on solutions for construction bidding packages, procurement, installing main construction equipment and facilities under Tien Giang General Hospital project. At the meeting, the leader of the construction unit presented the construction plan of the work items and committed to follow the assigned schedule.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong requested the construction unit to urgently accelerate the completion of the project to ensure facilities for medical examination and treatment and people's health care. During the construction process, it is necessary to ensure labor safety. Relevant departments, branches and units with assigned functions and duties shall support and supervise the investor and construction unit during the project construction period, promptly removing problems and arising for the project to ensure progress and promote investment efficiency.
