The delegation checked the construction progress of the water-pumping system from Binh Thanh canal (Go Cong town) to N8 canal and Binh Phu commune canal (Go Cong Tay district) for agricultural production, especially the rice of the locality. According to the construction unit, the large pipeline of the system is expected to be completed and conduct water on February 2 with a capacity of about 1,000 m3/hour. Particularly for small pipelines, it is expected to put into use on February 21.

After checking the construction schedule of agricultural production water pipe system in Binh Xuan commune, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Van Nghia checked the operation status of the water supply pumping station in ward 5, Go Cong town. This pump station started operating 24/24 hours from 18:00 on 17-02 with 8 units, each hour pumping about 8000 m3 of water. The installation of pumping stations aim at providing water for agricultural production for people in Gia Thuan commune, Tan Dien commune and Tan Thanh commune of Go Cong Dong district.
