Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries scheduled to take place in Hanoi
ABO/NDO- The 24th International Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries (ICADL 2022) is scheduled to take place from November 30 - December 2 at Vietnam National University’s Hoa Lac campus of the under the theme of augmenting intelligence in digital libraries.
The ICADL has been held annually since 1998 as one of the top venues for connecting digital library, computer science, and library and information science communities.
The 2022 edition is expected to see the in-person participation of more than 100 leading researchers in digital library and digital knowledge management from the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific as well as 200 domestic guests including leaders of Vietnamese universities, library directors, researchers and students.
The conference will also see the virtual participation of over 1,000 guests.
The first two days will feature academic sessions on such topics as data archiving and administration, intelligent data analysis while the third day will be joined by AP-iSchools, a system of training schools with a focus on Information science, information management and knowledge management.
In hosting ICADL 2022, the Vietnam National University hopes to spread knowledge in the fields of computer science, digital library, digital information management and digital knowledge management.
