Apple to open the first online shop in Vietnam
ABO/NDO- Apple has announced that it would open its first online store in Vietnam next week, as a stepping stone for Apple to continue opening a direct store in Vietnam in the near future.
The online store will have a team of experts who are ready to share expertise in Vietnamese, to support customers in need.
"We are honoured to have the opportunity to expand in Vietnam, as well as be extremely excited to be able to provide Apple’s outstanding care and support services to customers, with the launch of the Apple Store online,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Senior Vice President of Apple Retail.
Online stores often precede the opening of retail stores.
Apple already sells products in Vietnam via licensed vendors and has multiple suppliers that assemble its gadgets in the country for export.
In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is considered the next potential market to open an Apple Store, after Thailand and Singapore.
According to experts, the important point for Apple to consider is that Vietnam has a very good sales growth rate, the highest in the region at present, and the percentage of Apple product users is also high.
