The Xoat residence in Dong Hoa Hiep village, Cai Be district

The Xoat residence in Dong Hoa Hiep village lies near the Cai Be river. According to the family history, the main building was built in the first half of the 19th century, but the splendid Western - style terrace in front of the main building was added in 1936 by the family head, who had made his fortune as a rice merchant.

As well as the ornate façade, the main building also retains many traditional paneled walls and other timbers from the original construction, making this a very attractive building.

Especially, the house is famous for marble boards used as a bed-still preserved in good condition.
