Ho Chi Minh city officially opens Bui Vien walking street
Ho Chi Minh City last night officially opened Bui Vien walking street in Pham Ngu Lao ward, District 1.

That is the second one after Nguyen Hue walking street in District 1.
Bui Vien walking street operates from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. every day and on Saturday and Sunday. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can enjoy street art performance, folk and contemporary music and other cultural exchange activities.
At the opening ceremony, deputy chairman of the city People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen said that the opening of the second walking street in the city aims at attracting more visitors to the city and creating new attractive amusement places for them at night.
According to the city Department of Tourism, Pham Ngu Lao ward receives about 500 short and long stay foreign visitors a day, which increases to 1,200 during peak time, together with thousands of domestic visitors to Bui Vien street.
