Tien Giang province before climate change

The Conference on Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Development of the Mekong Delta, which has just been held in Can Tho on September 27, discussed many important issues in order to find effective solutions to find new avenue for the Mekong Delta, especially in relation to climate change and rising sea level more fiercely like nowaday.

Tien Giang is not out of the general scenario of the whole region. The most visible impact of climate change on Tien Giang is similar to the area, which is characterized by abnormal weather conditions, severe salinity and landslides.
