A mass color at My Tho flower village

ABO - These days in the My Tho flower village, many kinds of flowers are blooming. In addition to the popular flowers such as marjoram, roses, paper flowers, etc ... this year, the gardeners here to grow varieties of flowers to serve the need of the people during the Lunar New Year.

In order to serve the flower market on New Year, people in the flower villages in the province have actively learned techniques, experience planting, care and bringing new varieties to produce flowers to create variety of species.

On this year, flower growers meet difficulty on the beginning of the season because of the heavy rains lasted a long time. However, at the end of the season, the flowers were quite good, and the price was relatively high.

According to flower growers, flower prices this year may increase by 10 to 20% over the same period because the following reason: the erratic weather; the prices of materials, plant protection drugs, input costs and labor costs increase by 10% compared to the flower season in 2017.
