Chairman of the PPC urged to accelerate the implementation of works

ABO - On May 28-30, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspected the progress of some works in the province.

* At My Tho city, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong surveyed the Hung Vuong street roundabout with the national highway 50. The chairman of the provincial People's Committee surveyed the construction of a roundabout at Hung Vuong Street with Highway 50.

Chairman of the PPC asked the unit to research, calculate accurately to find the right center of roundabout; In terms of architecture, it must be compatible with the surrounding landscape and, in particular, it must ensure traffic safety for vehicles passing through.

* At Cho Gao district, Chairman of the PPC surveyed the construction progress of Hoa Tinh bridge (linking two communes of Hoa Tinh and My Tinh An). He commended the efforts of the construction unit. At the same time, he requested to accelerate the progress in oder to traffic through on September 15, 2018. According to the report of the construction company, the bridge was started construction on September 20, 2017, so far the bridge pressed two piles and staked 2 piers, constructing abutment of the bridge.

* In Go Cong Tay district, Chairman of the PPC surveyed the provincial road 872B (section from the National Highway 50 to provincial road 877). According to the report of the investor, the total investment of the project is over VND 140 billion with the cost of site clearance as VND 42 billion.

He asked contractors to accelerate the construction progress; the Management Board of the project for construction of traffic works in the province should have a report on implementation progress, difficulties and advantages and an explanation with the PPC.

* At Go Cong Dong district, Chairman of the PPC surveyed the project of storm shelter for Soai Rap river fishing vessel combined with Vam Lang fishing wharf. He asked the investor to quickly add the path to the storm shelter, to invest in wastewater treatment system. In addition, the construction unit must have a solution to solve the problem of sedimentation.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has to build a management mechanism for storm shelter for Soai Rap river fishing vessel combined with Vam Lang fishing wharf in the spirit of Resolution 18, 19 of the Central.

* At Go Cong town, Chairman of the PPC inspected the implementation of the Canal 14. He stressed that the Canal 14 project not only increases fresh water storage for districts and towns in the East but also facilitates the formation of traffic.

* At Cho Gao district, Chairman of the PPC surveyed the flooded area (the section through Hoa Dinh and Xuan Dong communes) affected life and activities of many households. He asked Cho Gao district to collect comments from the people once again on the construction of the tide prevention. Cho Gao district had to quickly send document about status of this area and the project to prevent floods to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to arrange the fastest capital to implement the project.
