ABO – As one of events of the Tien Giang provincial Cultural-Sports and Tourism Festival 2019, the Provincial Women's Union in collaboration with the Tien Giang Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism organized The contest "Tourism cuisine, traditional cake making” at the provincial center square under the theme "Tien Giang Taste".

The contest attracted 13 teams from districts, towns and city. Each team has 2 parts, including cuisine and folk cake making within 90 minutes. After a day of exciting competition, the organization board awarded one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes and four consolation prizes to the participating teams.

The contest was an opportunity to introduce typical dishes of each locality with bold features of Tien Giang province as well as to promote the food culture of the province to friends and tourists at home and abroad.
