Tien Giang Cultural - Sports and Tourism Festival 2019 closed

ABO - On the evening of January 14, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee held the closing ceremony of Tien Giang Cultural - Sports and Tourism Festival 2019.

Provincial leaders attended the closing ceremony.

This event saw attendance of Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Committee for Propaganda and Education Chau Thi My Phuong; Deputy Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang; Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc; and leaders of departments, agencies, localities and people.

At the beginning of the closing Ceremony, there was a special flower boat performance on the Tien River with the theme "Tien Giang wonderful experience". Each flower boat with its own theme aimed at promoting Tien Giang province's image to people inside and outside the province.

Awarding certificates of merit to 10 collectives.

Director of the Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Duc Dam said that: It can be affirmed that the Festival has achieved the purpose, set forth requirements, contributing to the end push up the province's socio-economic development; at the same time, creating an important highlight in the promotion and promotion of tourism in the province, meeting the demand of entertainment of the people.

After the end of the Festival, the Culture - Sports and Tourism sector continued to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to organize entertainment activities to serve people on occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019 at the provincial central square.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives that contributed to the success of the festival.
