Plastic waste elimination efforts underway in Vietnam
ABO/SGGP - Being one of five nations releasing the most plastic waste into the ocean with about 1.8 million tons a year, Vietnam has intensified communications campaigns against plastic products in order to reduce environmental pollution.

Among activities of the campaign are collecting plastic waste and plastic bottles to exchange for presents, encouraging supermarket shoppers to use fabric bags and goods suppliers to use environmentally friendly bags.
