Cai Lay Regional General Hospital holds nCoV epidemic response drill

ABO - On February 7, Cai Lay Regional General Hospital held a drill to handle and isolate patient suspected of infecting new strain of coronavirus (nCoV) from emergency situation.

Nearly 50 doctors, nurses from many departments of the hospital attended the event.

The dill poses a hypothetical situation that a patient, who came back from Wuhan with symptoms of infected nCoV, was taken to the hospital by family. The hospital received screening and invited the leader for holding  a consultation to bring patient to the quarantine area for timely test.

At the end of the drill, the Steering Committee for nCoV prevention of the hospital and the participants evaluated to draw experience to prepare well for the prevention and control of epidemic.
