Award and posthumuosly bestow "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title

State President Truong Tan Sang has signed Decision No. 1771/QĐ-CTN and No. 1772/QĐ-CTN about awarding and bestowing posthumuosly “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” title to 1.834 Tien Giang mothers in this time, including 199 mothers were awarded and 1.635 mothers were pothumuosly bestowed.

Cai Be district has 287 mothers; Cai Lay district has 271 mothers; Cai Lay town has 213 mothes; My Tho city has 95 mothers; Cho Gao district has 166 mothers; Go Cong Tay district has 125 mothers; Go Cong town has 54 mothers; Go Cong Dong district has 166 mothers; Tan Phu Dong district has 61 mothers.

According to the selection criteria of this time, 1.444 mothers have over two martyrs; 374 mothers have only son and husband as martyr or she herself as martyr; 15 mothers have only son who is martyr; 1 mother has two sons but one is martyr and another is war invalid who has the decline of labour ability over 81 percents.

At the National’s Day (September 2, 2014), Tien Giang’s Party Committee and People's Committee will hold formally ceremony to award and posthumuosly bestow “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” title to 1.834 mothers this time.

* According to Decision No. 1821/QĐ-CTN of the State President, Tien Giang’s Fatherland Front was awarded for Second class Medal of Independence and Tien Giang Lottery one member co., Ltd was awarded for Third class Medal of Independence for their excellent achivements of contributing to protecting homeland and building socialism.

* Vice Prime Minister Nguyen Xuân Phuc signed Decision No. 1102/QĐ-TTg to award emulation glag for Tien Giang’s Department of Justice; People and Goverment Cho Gao district; People and Goverment Phu Kiet village, because of finishing excently duties and leading the Tien Giang’s patriotic emulation movements of 2013.
