DPM says farewell to Brazilian Ambassador

Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on August 14 hosted a reception for out-going Brazilian Ambassador to Viet Nam Vitoria Alice Cleaver.

The Deputy PM applauded the Ambassador’s successful term of office in Viet Nam and her contribution to strengthening the two nations’ comprehensive partnership relations.

He asserted that Viet Nam respects and expects to deepen the relationship with Brazil through delegation exchanges, the signing of cooperative documents, bilateral cooperative mechanisms and close cooperation at multi-lateral forums.

Ms. Vitoria Alice Cleaver highly spoke of the two countries’ relations, especially the two-way trade turnover of US$2.3 billion in 2013.

She expressed her desire to contribute more to the relationship in the future.
