PM asks construction sector to cut administrative procedures

PM Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the Ministry of Construction to reduce at least one third of current duration for processing administrative procedures on construction investment in 2015.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung made the request during his working session with the ministry’s leaders on August 14.

He asked the ministry to devise an action plan specifying tasks and coordination with other ministries and localities on improving the national competitiveness.

The ministry’s leaders should pay attention to institutional improvements and enhance State management to ensure both time saving and close monitoring, PM Nguyen Tan Dung said.

He required the ministry to better social housing provision to low income and disadvantaged people, policy beneficiaries and those in flood-hit regions.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung also tasked the ministry to focus on restructuring its businesses to improve business administration’s effectiveness, and strengthen human resources while addressing effectively issues related to construction wastes
